Yuvraj Singh is continuing his terrific form in the ongoing Ranji Trophy. The talented all rounder scored another half century in the match between Punjab and UP. He scored a quick fire 85 off just 130 balls, but sadly he missed out on a consecutive hundred by just 15 runs.
Though he scored just 85 runs, there was his mark all over this innings, he scored boundaries in style. Right when he was looking good and on the verge of getting one more hundred he was caught by Eklavya Dwivedi off Imtiaz Ali. He already scored three hundreds and two half centuries in this season but he is still being ignored by the national level selectors.
Punjab are currently on top of the game as they need just 51 runs to win the match. In the first innings UP were all out for 335 and Punjab were restricted to 319. After taking a lead of 16 runs UP started their second innings but were all out for just 95 runs, because of a magical spell by Siddharth Kaul. He picked up 6 wickets for just 27 runs. Punjab were a target of mere 112 runs. Punjab at the end of Day 3 were at 61-2 and need 51 runs to seal the game.
